A Regina couple is one million dollars richer thanks to Lotto 6/49.
Robert and Carol Kydd won a $1 million guaranteed prize in the September 13 draw.
In a news release from Saskatchewan Lotteries, the Kydds say there was a bunch of tickets hanging from a clip on their refrigerator that he finally decided to go check them out. That check proved to be profitable as the ticket-checker said it appeared to be a one-million dollar winner.
The release says the couple, who are declining all media interviews, say they have plans for the money including home renovations, new vehicles and sharing it with family.
The ticket was purchased at Park Street Drugs on 2415 Park Street.
