The University of Regina Rams have not played a football game since beating the University of Saskatchewan Huskies two weeks ago as Canada West as a whole had a bye last weekend.
The stretch drive begins for the Rams and all teams in the conference this weekend with Regina finding their way to Edmonton to take on the University of Alberta Golden Bears.
The 3-2 Rams will look to stay either tied for 2nd with UBC or have sole possession of 2nd to themselves while the Golden Bears are trying to crawl into the playoff race as they sit 1-4.
It could be a record setting afternoon for Rams running back Atlee Simon as he has 26 career touchdowns which ties him for the Rams all-time lead with Jason Clermont while receiver Mitch Picton has 21 career touchdown receptions meaning his next will give him the record which is currently held by Chad Goldie.
620 CKRM will have the game Saturday afternoon at 1 with Mitchell Blair and Addison Richards.
