Big nights from Trent Richardson and Chad Owens helped the Saskatchewan Roughriders to a 37-12 victory over the Montreal Alouettes for their 10th win of the season. It is the first time since 2014 the team has had a 10 win season.
Owens had 9 catches for 114 yards and a touchdown in the game while Richardson ran the ball for 126 yards and two touchdowns in a game that saw the Riders play some sloppy football despite the large margin of victory.
Before the game, the team saluted former Riders quarterback Darian Durant with a video on the scoreboard that resulted in Durant saluting the crowd while appearing to fight back tears.
Durant played the first half before leaving with a knee injury suffered on a sack by A-C Leonard. He was 9 of 20 for 126 yards and an interception.
The Riders are now 10-7 on the season. They close out the regular season with a home game against Edmonton November 4
