The 15th Annual Children’s Hospital Radiothon kicked off Wednesday morning at Hill Tower II.
Harvard Broadcasting’s 620 CKRM, MY92.1 and 104.9 The Wolf are broadcasting live all day as donations for the new children’s hospital in Saskatoon continue to come in.
Special guests will be around all day including Regina Mayor Michael Fougere, who stopped by earlier this morning.
Fougere said it’s remarkable to see the progress that has been made on the building itself.
“Seventy per-cent complete, which is really remarkable and we know that in no time at all we are going to have a fully operational children’s hospital in Saskatchewan, this is so critical for families right across our province,” Fougere said while speaking on 620 CKRM.
‘I want to thank CKRM and Harvard for doing this, you’ve done this for many years,” Fougere added.
“Just remember how important it is to take care of our children, the most vulnerable people in our society,” Fougere said.
Other guests stopping by on Wednesday include Highways Minister Jim Reiter and Steve Mazurak from the Riders.
