Some of the best curling teams in Canada have converged on Summerside, Prince Edward Island for the “Roar of the Rings” Olympic pre-trials which start Monday.
14 men’s teams and 14 women’s teams are looking for two spots to the Olympic trials in Ottawa next month.
While Saskatchewan has no representation on the women’s bracket, the men’s side has three rinks with a provincial connection.
Defending provincial champ Adam Casey (pictured) is entered as is Saskatoon’s Colton Flasch and Moose Jaw’s Pat Simmons. Simmons is skipping a rink out of Winnipeg.
Competition will go all week with the spots being determined on the weekend.
