The provincial government has made amendments to small business legislation.
The ammendments include raising the small business income threshold from 500 thousand to 600 hundred thousand dollars.
CFIB Saskatchewan spokesperson Marilyn Braun-Pollon says this is a positive for small business throughout Saskatchewan.
“We’re pleased the government has introduced these legislative amendments,” Braun-Pollon said. “It sends the right signal that the government wants to improve the small business climate.”
Once the amendments are officially implemented on January 1st, Saskatchewan will have the highest income threshold in Canada.
