RCMP say they will not be laying any charges in connection with a September incident where a six-year-old boy was killed in a dog attack.
The body of six year old Cameron Mushanski was found in the yard of his grandparents home. He had been attacked by two Alaskan Malamutes that had been penned up in the yard.
RCMP say an investigation into the attack shows there were no elements of any criminal, provincial or bylaw offence committed, and that the incident can simply be referred to as “tragic”.
During its investigation, RCMP in Milestone worked with the office of the Chief Coroner, the RCMP’s Major Crime Unit and the Regina Humane Society.
