The Regina Pats (11-6-2-0) will welcome Nick Henry back Friday night as they start a home-and-home series with the Moose Jaw Warriors (13-4-0-0).
Henry missed the first 19 games of the season recovering from surgery in the off-season to repair a shoulder injury.
While it has been difficult not being on the ice, Henry said he has been doing what he can to keep involved with the team.
“Being able to watch you can see some things and help some of the younger guys and when I am able to get back hopefully I can help the team out and do what I did last year,” Henry said.
The Pats go into Friday’s game two points back of first place Moose Jaw with the Warriors holding two games in hand.
Game time is 7:00 p.m. with the pre-game show getting underway at 6:35 p.m. Friday night on CKRM.
