Survey says: Most people tend to call in sick before or right after a weekend.
Let me just be clear, I hate being sick however, you can’t deny if you have a bug. Especially one that doesn’t seem to want to leave you alone.
Having had a cold, that in the early days, knocked me on my butt, I was feeling confident I was over the hurdle and getting better. Well, like all plagues, they keep lingering or at their worst try and take you down, ONE – MORE – TIME!
That one more time, is a burning from my sinus all the way down my throat to my upper respiratory system. It feels as though my throat was scalded with hot liquid. Is this what Strep Throat feels like! Having never had it, I don’t know. Even my shoulders hurt from left to right – front and back! I’m hot, then freezing cold!
It is just one damn bug after another in our “petri” dish world, not unlike any business or school. One person gets it and then just passes it onward.
There’s no way we can all be off work sick. Seems like this work place has its fair share of illness in this fall/winter cycle. I’m sure you feel the same at yours. Perhaps people that are subjected to living with kids should stay at home if their children are sick! I know I’ll be staying away from my 98 year old mom.
Anyway, I’m astonished that I was able to see my Doctor today! This is not the kind of thing I want to linger.
Good luck! Stay Healthy Saskatchewan!
