One of Saskatchewan’s top curling rinks is not only preparing for the upcoming Olympic curling trials, but they are also getting ready to cross the province teaching the game to youth in rural Saskatchewan.
Curling clubs interested in having the Team Laycock “CORR Grain Community Rocks Tour” presented by Crescent Point Energy have until Monday to submit the needed paperwork.
Third Kirk Muyres says this is a great way to give back to the game that has helped put his team on the map.
This is the 6th year that the event has been held. Last year, over 250 kids were a part of the program with stops being made in places like Whitewood, Humboldt and Cudworth.
The five communities that Team Laycock will visit will be announced at a future date.
