Ten new homes were officially completed in Phase II of the project.
Mayor Michael Fougere said while the accomplishment of completing the homes is big in it’s own, it’s all about getting deserving families in new homes.
“First and foremost it’s about providing housing for families and Habitat for Humanity does a wonderful job of that, Haultain Crossing is the largest “build to have” in the province with 62 homes in total, ten in this phase so it’s a wonderful day for ten families who will be starting a new life,” Fougere said.
Families will be moving into the ten homes as soon as later this week.
To date, 24 homes have been built on the site.
