Regina Police have charged two men and a woman after an incident on Saturday that required officers to stop a vehicle with a spike belt.
Just after midnight Saturday morning an officer spotted a truck in the northwest end of the city that was known to be associated with a man wanted for numerous fraud, and theft related warrants around the province.
Police initiated a traffic stop, but the vehicle was able to get away until officers deployed a spike belt, the three suspects were then taken into custody with the help of a canine unit.
Forty-year-old Trent Pratt, 34-year-old Brandon Thernes and 31 year-old Megan Spaan are now facing a total of seven charges.
All three accused were in court Monday.
