The Regina Food Bank is counting heavily on community support during the Christmas season.
Holiday Hampers will soon be delivered, and according to the Food Bank’s Resource Development Manager, any assistance is needed.
Mandy Pavlovsky says during the Christmas season, the food bank makes a special effort to ensure struggling families have all they need and then some.
“At this time of year, we deliver over 2000 hampers of hope. And this is in addition to our regular work and regular hampers that go out.”
Pavlovsky says PotashCorp. is matching the first $500,000 of cash donations made to food banks across Saskatchewan.
Typically, the food bank delivers over 9000 hampers are delivered a month.
