The NDP is raising the alarm about the use of crystal meth as a recreational drug.
Opposition critic Danielle Chartier describes the use of crystal meth as a crisis in Saskatchewan.
She says a provincial task force needs better funding.
She says “instead of bragging about the task force, can the minister provide more funding for this crisis?”
Health minister Jim Reiter says the use of crystal meth is being taken seriously with ongoing funding from both the provincial and federal governments.
He says “the province continues to fund mental health and addictions, and the province is making use of every federal dollar earmarked for mental health”
Reiter says he doesn’t agree with the premise of the question.
