Monday marks the official first day of operation for the single Saskatchewan Health Authority.
Health Minister Jim Reiter said with a CEO and board in place he expects no impact for patients or frontline workers with the change over.
“Our governance, our board has been in place for some time now, we have a CEO, the senior management team is being put in place. Our goal is that there should be no frontline impact to patients obviously and to frontline workers, Reiter said.

Saskatchewan now joins Alberta, PEI, Nunavut and Yukon as the only other provinces or territories to operate under a single health authority.
