Regina City Hall officially got into the Christmas spirit last night.
Several trees in front of the building were decorated with colourful Christmas lights that were turned on for the first time this season. Hot chocolate was served, carols were sung, and Santa even stopped by for a visit. He says the Mayor made the nice list this year.
The temperature was almost perfect for the event, but a wind added a little bite in the air which prompted some to warm up in the City Hall lobby. Mother Nature helped make the tree lighting ceremony a little more festive with falling snow.
