One member of the Saskatchewan Roughriders worked out with an NFL team on Friday, while another is getting set to show his stuff to a NFL team before the month is over.
Defensive back Kacy Rodgers was one of several CFL players to work out for the Minnesota Vikings. Others included BC Lions defensive lineman Craig Roh and Edmonton Eskimos receiver Brandon Zylstra.
Meanwhile, during an appearance on 620 CKRM’s Sportscage Friday afternoon, 3DownNation’s Justin Dunk reported receiver Nic Demski has attracted the interest of the New York Giants and that he will work out with the team before the month is over.
The news came on a day when the team released four players including defensive lineman Zach Minter.
