An investigation is underway after a Regina Police officer recently used a taser in an arrest.
Early Saturday morning, police were dispatched to a residence on Devonshire Drive following reports of a disturbance.
Upon arrival, police found a man was found inside a vehicle. When asked to exit, the man refused and became aggressive.
He was then tasered.
The man was detained and transported to hospital, the extent of his injuries is unknown.
As per policy, Regina Police notify the public in cases where a taser has been used.
