Flashing lights illuminated the Saskatchewan Polytechnic campus most of Wednesday morning and afternoon.
Regina Police Emergency Services teams completed emergency preparedness exercises along with students in the Paramedics program from the school.
Sargeant Casey Ward says the training exercise is highly important for the students.
“We work with paramedics 24-hours a day,” Ward said. “So, while a lot of these paramedics are getting trained, hopefully they’re coming back to our city and serving our community.”
Ward says the experience the trainees gain will better prepare them for what they get into industry.
