Rob Clarke is out of the Saskatchewan Party leadership race.
Clarke, the former MP and RCMP Sergeant says he will be endorsing Ken Cheveldayoff moving forward.
In a news release Clarke said Cheveldayoff is, “truly committed to building a bigger, better party that treats grassroots members with the respect they deserve,” and he is proud to lend him support.
Clarke also said he is leaving the race to avoid a damaging vote-splitting scenario that could pave the way for a majority NDP Government.
The Sask. Party will select their next leader and Premier January 27th in Saskatoon.
