The sell off of STC assets has been going smoothly for the province of Saskatchewan.
Since shutting down the provincially run bus company in June, Saskatchewan has sold off the entire fleet of buses and most of the depots for and estimated 29-million dollars.
Minister Responsible Joe Hargrave told reporters Wednesday much of the former STC property now belongs to Hilco Industrial, a company in Ontario.
Hargrave said they received interest from nearly 400 companies in what was an open bid and fair playing field, adding many organizations have chosen not to disclose the number of assets they purchased or the amount they purchased them for.
In Regina, the former STC depot is now the future home of the Regina Police Service.
