Hundreds of people gathered across from old Mosaic Stadium to watch the annual CP Holiday Train roll through the Queen City Saturday evening.
The event, which included Terri Clark, Dallas Smith and Kelly Prescott, was a fundraiser for the Regina Food Bank.
“It’s important when you get an opportunity to do something like this to embrace it and see it for what it is and it’s what life is all about; giving back,” stated performer Terri Clark.
This was her first year on the train and Dallas Smiths’ second year.
“The one thing I loved doing everyday was waking up and opening up the blinds just looking out at what the country has to offer that we’re travelling through,” smiled Dallas Smith.
After Regina the train continued on to Moose Jaw, Swift Current and Maple Creek before heading to Alberta.
