The Transportation Safety Board says both engines were operating when a passenger plane crashed in northern Saskatchewan earlier this month.
All 25 people on board the WestWind Aviation plane survived when the aircraft went down shortly after taking off near the Fond du Lac airstrip with some suffering serious injuries.

While investigators still aren’t sure what caused the crash, they are looking at weather, aircraft maintenance, pilot training and operational policies.
The flight data recorder and the cockpit voice recorder from West Wind’s ATR-42-320 plane has been sent to a lab in Ottawa for analysis.
