20 year old goaltender Tyler Brown was the story for the Regina Pats in Prince Albert Saturday night.
Brown stopped 47 shots as the Pats beat the Raiders 2-1 in the first half of a home-and-home series between the two that will conclude at the Brandt Centre in a 7 o’clock start.
Jared Legien opened the scoring for Regina as he scored his first since being acquired earlier this week in a trade with Victoria in the game’s first minute, but the Raiders evened the contest in the 2nd.
Jake Leschyshyn had the game-winner when he scored short-handed midway through the 3rd.
Regina is now 18-18-3 on the season.
