A new year, a new devices that makes life easier.
Do they really or are they just making us lazy.
I don’t buy the “I’m too busy”. You can’t get up and turn on or change the TV channel. That’s what the remote is for. The thermostat isn’t set for your mood, get up and change it. You happen to be out of paper towels, write it on a list.
I’m sick of these ads for Google and Amazon – the devices that apparently do almost everything for you except maybe flush your toilet.
What a waste of money and time.
If you make a resolution to lose weight, quit smoking or drinking that’s on you! Does this device do anything in the self-help column? Perhaps shaming you! Can it identify that you are opening the fridge, lighting up or cracking a beer.
Ah technology. My life is pretty uncomplicated when it comes to “toys”. The apartment I’m in has no room for upgrades in thermostat, my TV is as smart as I want it! I have no “hilite” reel to watch! Actually, becoming more “unplugged” is more of a goal for many, reconnecting with family and friends providing more allure and connection.
While the use of Google Home Mini looks cool, the dust is collecting on it already!!
