E Bourassa and Sons have donated a New Holland Boomer 24 Tractor to the Gravelbourg Minor Hockey Association.
The tractor will be used to raise money for minor Hockey in the area, as it will be given away in a raffle.
Britney Fisher, Marketing Coordinator for E Bourassa and Sons, says the tractor raffle will take place along side a special event for the community of Gravelbourg.
“Gravelbourg Minor Hockey approached us and wanted to see if we wanted partner with them with an event that’s coming to Gravelbourg on January 20th,” Fisher says. “They have the Montreal Canadiens Alumni Hockey game coming to Gravelbourg, so that is a really big deal.”
Fisher says supporting minor hockey is important for the company.
“It’s very important to Bourassa to support small communities and hockey rinks and hockey teams are a huge part of keeping those small towns alive,” Fisher says. “It’s very important, and it’s very close to Bourassa’s heart to keep those communities going through the Hockey rink.”
The draw for the tractor will be made in April, and tickets will be available for purchase until the date of the draw.
