One of the prized Rider free agents is defensive lineman Willie Jefferson.
While there were indications shortly after the season ended that Jefferson had signed a contract extension with the football team, there has been no official confirmation from the football team.
Jefferson may have made it official on Thursday afternoon when he released the following tweet.
