Saskatchewan is going from one weather extreme to another.
Many regions, including Regina are under an extreme cold warning, but according to Environment Canada, that’s all going to change.
However, Mark Melsness says bundle up Monday.
“We’re expecting the windchill values to creep up to near minus 40C,” Melsness said. “Their going to hover near minus 40 throughout the morning.”
But Melsness says we’re in for some mild weather.
“And then, the warm up begins tomorrow (Tuesday),” Melsness said. “The sunshine will continue and a bit of wind. Highs by the end of the day tomorrow to near minus 10C. And that warm air continues to flood into the province.”
Melsness says it even gets better after Tuesday.
“Wednesday, we may even get up to the 0C mark,” Melsness said. “And that continues Thursday and Friday as well.”
Although Melsness wouldn’t make any promises, he says the daytime high for Thursday is could reach plus 5.
