Environment Canada has issued warnings for much of Central and Northern Saskatchewan for both extreme cold and extreme snowfall.
Areas including Cree Lake, Buffalo Narrows, La Loche, La Ronge, Pelican Narrows, and Southend are all facing extreme snowfall for Monday.
Meanwhile, Meadow lake, the Melfort-Tisdale-Nipawin region, as well as the Prince Albert area are all facing extreme cold.
About 10 to 20 centimetres of snow is expected in regions under the snowfall warning, while windchill values could drop to as low as -45°C in extreme cold areas.
Those currently under the warnings are advised to continue to watch Environment Canada`s watches and warnings page for more information.
