Before we go any further, no, I’m not mooning anybody in this blog. A very rare super blue moon is set to happen early tomorrow morning, though!
NASA will start live streaming the triple line up of magnificence around 4:30 SK time tomorrow morning. For the first time in about 150 years, a super moon, a blue moon, and a lunar eclipse will happen all at the same time. Now, in case you forgot like I did, a super moon is when the moon looks bigger than normal thanks to its close proximity to Earth. A blue moon is when there are two full moons in a month, which is also rare!
Around 6:30 a.m. or 7 is when the event should be at it’s best if you want a good glimpse. I’d love to see your super blue moon pictures as well and I’ll make sure we share them to our Facebook page! If you happen to get a great picture, feel free to email them with your name to firstname.lastname@example.org.
