The commissioner of the CFL is packing his bags in February and going coast-to-coast to hear from CFL fans.
The league announced “Randy’s Road Trip” on Tuesday. It will see Commissioner Randy Ambrosie visit all nine CFL markets and Halifax during the month in a series of town hall style meetings aimed at hearing from the fans on various issues across the league.
“Our fans are very much part of the hierarchy of this league: they make everything we do possible,” Ambrosie said in a statement. “I want to hear what’s on their minds and get their feedback on some of our plans. It is really important for us to be accessible, and accountable, to our fans.”
The tour will start in Montreal on Thursday with the Saskatchewan stop happening in Regina on Saturday, February 10. A time and place was not announced.
