The province of Saskatchewan boasts the second best unemployment rate in the country according to Stats Canada.
The Saskatchewan unemployment rate hit a mark of 5.4 percent, which is tied for second best, and sits five points better than the national average at 5.9 percent.
Compared to January 2017, there were 1500 more jobs in the province last month.
As well there were 6200 full-time jobs created month-over-month.
Major gains were made in public administration, accommodation and food services, and building and other support services.
