Tuesday evening Gloria Evans and I attempted a new activity called “Crokicurl.” It’s a combination of the traditional board game of crokinole and curling and is sponsored by Curl Sask.
The game is set up in Victoria Park, downtown Regina and is designed for teams of one to two players. The outer ring on the ice is worth five points, the middle ring is worth ten points, and the inner ring is worth 15 points while landing a rock in the button is worth 20 points.
The game will be set up until this Saturday (Feb 17). Below are a few pictures of the game and you can view a video of how it works on the 620 CKRM Facebook page.
