A 31 year-old is facing charges in relation to Regina’s second homicide of 2017.
Just after 8 PM on February 18th, Police and EMS were called to the 1400 block of Pasqua street, where they located a 40 year-old man who was severely injured, and was later pronounced dead at a hospital.
The suspect then stole a vehicle, and ignored Regina Police’s attempts to pull him over, and then hit a police cruiser on the corner of Albert and College.
Chad Barre is facing 12 charges including first degree murder, armed robbery using a firearm and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
Barre made his first court appearance Tuesday morning.
