Three Regina men were found guilty of first-degree murder on Friday night by a jury.
The 11 person jury found 24-year-old Andrew Bellegarde, 33-year-old Bronson Gordon and 34-year-old Daniel Theodore guilty of first-degree murder in the death of Reno Lee with Bellegarde and Theodore also found guilty on a charge of offering an indignity to human remains.
The jury heard how in April 2015 Lee was taken against his will from Gordon’s Angus Street apartment to the basement of a house on Garnet Street. He was held prisoner there for an undetermined amount of time before being shot twice in the head.
The body of the 34-year-old Lee was found a few days later near the Starblanket First Nation. He had been decapitated and dismembered.
