Operation Bus Cop returns to the queen city on Monday.
Regina Police officers will once again step onto buses hoping to spot distracted drivers around the city.
The buses provide an unique vantage point for officers to catch motorists on their cell phones, and doing various other distracting things while behind the wheel.
The first two times the initiative was held officers handed out 69 and 138 tickets for various infractions including distracted driving.
In 2016 distracted driving caused 42 fatalities across the province.
