After leaving the Steve Laycock rink to form his own rink this year, Colton Flasch is heading to Alberta.
Flasch, who lost to Laycock in the SaskTel Tankard final this year, is joining up with Kevin Koe to be his second.
The Koe rink, that was Canada’s rep at the Pyeongchang Olympics, made the announcement Tuesday with former Mike McEwen third–BJ Neufeld also joining the team.
Long-time third Marc Kennedy announced after the Olympics that he was stepping away from the game for a while, while second Brent Laing has left to join a new team being formed by Ontario’s John Epping.
It means half of the Koe team now has a Saskatchewan birth certificate as Regina’s Ben Hebert remains at lead.
