Regina Police and the Chief Coroner are investigating after a three-year-old girl was found dead Tuesday.
Police say the child was found unresponsive in a home on the 100 block of Montreal Street North around 9:30 AM. EMS administered emergency care and transported the girl to hospital, but she died about three hours after being admitted.
At this early stage in the investigation, there are no other details available for release. The child’s identity is known and the family is notified, but these details will not be made public by police. The Regina Police Service and the Office of the Chief Coroner are investigating further to clarify the circumstances surrounding the child’s death.
