A former CFL All-Star and fan favourite has decided to hang up the cleats.
John Chick announced his retirement from pro football Friday.
Chick played 11 seasons of pro football, eight of them in the CFL.
He spent the majority of his career north of the border with the Saskatchewan Roughriders, where over his six years with the club, he established himself as one of the most fearsome DE’s in the CFL, as he lead the team in sacks in 2013, and the league too, and in 2014.
Over the course of his career with Saskatchewan, Hamilton and Edmonton, Chick played 125 games, had 72 sacks and is a two time Grey Cup Champion (2007 & 2013).
