Regina Police have made an arrest in relation to an aggravated assault that took place in the early morning hours of Sunday.
Police were called to a hospital after an injured woman came in with several serious lacerations.
Units then began persuing their suspect, and after a quick police chase ended on the 600 block of Cameron Street, and the female suspect was arrested for police evasion.
During the arrest, police found a machete and blood evidence on the passenger side. Further investigation led to further charges.
21 year-old Taryn McAllister is facing four charges, including aggravated assault, flight while pursued by an officer, and two counts of breach of undertaking.
McAllister made her first court appearance Monday morning.
