The Saskatchewan NDP has announced what they would like to see the government include in next week’s provincial budget.
The party would like to see the government make smart investments that will improve the economy and will improve the lives of Saskatchewan residents.
NDP Leader, Ryan Meili says focusing on redoing the damage to cuts to entities such as education and cuts to core services is another aspect the NDP would like to see the government focus on.
Also investments into mental health are something that the NDP would also welcome says Meili.
The NDP leader adds the party would also like to see the government get a handle on the spending of major projects such the Regina bypass which went from a project cost of 400 million dollars to the 2 billion dollar range.
