Unity RCMP joined Macklin Fire and Rescue, Macklin EMS, and SaskPower crews in responding to a motor vehicle collision that took place within the community of Macklin Thursday morning.
At around 7:45, an east bound truck lost control and hit a parked car, and then pushed the car into a power pole.
Two people in the truck were assessed on scene by EMS, and only sustained minor injuries.
A 23 year-old man from Alberta, whose name is not being released at this time, is facing two charges; speeding and reckless driving.
SaskPower is anticipating power outages in the future in order to repair the pole.
