A 16 year-old boy is facing a pair of charges after bringing a fake gun to Winston Knoll Collegiate on Thursday afternoon.
Just before 3:00 Thursday, Police responded to the incident, where a report of the teen was carrying what was thought to be a firearm inside the High School.
The teen was in a “non-threatening state,” which means no altercation or disturbance took place, and the believed weapon was confirmed to be a cap gun.
The 16 year-old cannot be named, but is charged with possession of an imitation weapon for the purpose of danger to public peace, and carrying a concealed weapon.
The teen will appear in court June 12th.
