How did the city do when it came to clearing snow off your street?
You have the chance to tell them.
The city of Regina has published a survey asking for residents opinion in how well the snow routes worked in their respective communities.
Mayor Michael Fougere said having residents offer constructive feedback is invaluable.
“What we’re trying to do is measure the effectiveness of these routes on our community and see if it improves traffic flow, allow for quicker snow clearing and make snow clearing more efficient,” said Fougere.
To this point in time, Fougere said the in-person discussions he’s had with residents about the snow routes has been mostly positive.
In his mind, the Mayor said the snow routes were than positive, they were without a doubt effective.
“These are high traffic areas where people do tend to park in the street,” he said. “But, we have alot of snow and we need to clear those streets off for public safety and just to get around. I think it’s an effective way to do that.”
The survey is available to be filled out on the city’s website until May 7th.
