A mother whose daughter went missing more than two years ago spoke to an early morning audience in Saskatoon at the 4th Annual Child Find fundraising breakfast.
Paula Bali, the mother of now 18 year old Mekayla Bali who went missing in Yorkton on April 12th 2016 says several tips have come in from the west coast including Vancouver of possible sightings of Mekayla but Paula says nothing ever came out of her three trips to the city to try and find her daughter.
Paula adds she wants to see a new mobile emergency response task force that would be made up of military personnel to assist the RCMP when a child goes missing.
She adds her family has put up more than 6,000 posters across Canada and in the United States to help see if anyone may have seen the 18 year old.
The family has offered a reward of 25 thousand dollars for anyone that finds the missing teen.
Mekayla was last seen in Yorkton at the STC bus depot at 1:45 on April 12th 2016. As of right now there currently 126 people missing in Saskatchewan.
