Downtown Regina will be full today as another season of the Regina Farmers Market gets underway at City Square Plaza.
Holly Laird is the operations manager for the Farmers Market.
She says many long-time vendors are back, but so are some new ones including Paradigm Coffee, the Good Dog and Carelebeads which are kitchen accessories featuring handmade lamp work beads.
Laird estimates there will be about 50-60 vendors selling product on Saturday, but that will get up to well over 100 in the summer months as their growing season ramps up.
Laird adds it is great to see the downtown area buzzing on a Saturday morning as people come down to get products which are made, baked or grown in Saskatchewan.
The outdoor market will go every Saturday and Wednesday from 9-1 until early October.
