Regina Police arrested a 30-year-old man early Sunday morning, they thought was involved in a robbery in the city’s north end Saturday afternoon.
Around 3:45 a.m. Sunday morning, police arrested Brandon Dermody at a business on the 900 block of Victoria Avenue, after he matched the suspect description in Saturday’s robbery on Argyle Street North.
Once Dermody was in custody officers discovered a loaded sawed off rifle, ammunition and methamphetamine and hydromorphone.
He’s now facing charges that include possession of methamphetamine and hydromorphone, as well as carrying a concealed weapon.
Dermody makes his first court appearance Monday morning.
