The CFL’s 3rd all-time leading scorer is joining the coaching staff of the Regina Rams.
Mark McLoughlin, who spent 17 years in the league and won three Grey Cups with the Calgary Stampeders, is going to be the team’s kicking coach.
Rams head coach Steve Bryce says his kickers will certainly be able to take what McLoughlin can teach them with one of those things hopefully being confidence.
“So much of the kicking game is mental.” Bryce said. “Making sure they are in the right frame of mind is key as our kicking game is one area where we need improvement.”
McLoughlin won three Grey Cups during his career. He came to Regina last September after taking a position with the Saskatchewan government.
