In fact it was less than a degree from breaking the 115 year-old record of 33.3, climbing to 33.2.
In Moose Jaw a 40-year-old record was snapped with a high of 34.
The heat is expected to last one more day before seasonal temperatures move in for the long weekend.
The normal daytime high in Regina is 19, Wednesday a high of 28 is expected.
