The NDP is raising concern about nearly 100 seniors who have been moved out of Pioneer Village in Regina.
Opposition critic Danielle Chartier says the housing complex needs serious repair work and is worried about future long-term care housing.
Health minister Jim Reiter says the facility was inherited from the city in 2009 and needed significant maintenance.
So far, he says the province has spent 12 million dollars and a mould issue recently got worse.
Reiter says the Saskatchewan Health Authority is relocating 94 residents and ministry recommendations on the future of the facility will be forthcoming this summer.
